The Organization:

Mora Capital Funding LLC (MCF) was organized by Miguel “Mike” Mora as a single member
limited liability company on June 13, 2018, under the laws of the State of Texas. Prior to this
organization, Mr. Mora operated as a sole proprietor providing the same services to his client
base which consisted primarily of socially and/or economically disadvantaged individuals (SEDI)
located primarily in the Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana market area. The organization is well
established in the marketplace with the principal’s thirty-five (35)+ years of providing capital
access to the immediate SEDI community.


Mora Capital Funding LLC provides an array of capital opportunities through its extensive
network of capital providers. MCF advises its client base on project viability, structure, and
identification of appropriate capital sources. Whether the client requires assistance in business
planning, market/feasibility studies, site analysis, organizational structuring, financial and/or
accounting, MCF can provide directly or through its network of resource providers, the required
management and technical assistance necessary for a viable capital proposal.

The Principal:

The principal of MCF, Miguel Mora is known as Mike in the community. Mike is a native of
Dallas, Texas, and a product of the Dallas Independent School system. He is a graduate of
Southern Methodist University (SMU) Edwin L. Cox School of Business. Mike also pursued post
graduate studies at SMU and the University of Dallas in economics and finance. His prior
industry experience includes the following:

Department of Commerce, Office of Minority Business Enterprise (OMBE)


Business analyst with the Dallas Alliance for Minority Enterprise (DAME) under a cooperative
agreement with the U.S.

Historical Access to Capital Production

The principal of the organization including the organization is experiencing increased demand.
Over the past five years, originations and fundings have increased from $10,000,000 in 2017 to
over $50,000,000 with a pipeline of developing projects in the $75,000,000 range for calendar
year 2023. Individual projects range in size from $50,000 to over $30,000,000 and are located
primarily in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. There are projects outside of the North Texas region
sprinkled throughout Texas such as in Hidalgo Texas, San Antonio, Houston, Austin and
Sweetwater, Texas. With the pandemic causing a significant impact on the SEDI community,
MCF assisted hundreds of businesses apply for PPP loans. These PPP loans offered by the SBA
were not included in the capital production of MCF since most of the assistance was provided
at no cost to the SEDI community.
